About Patron Design Studio

Quickly – Patron Design Studio is an independent design house based out of Vancouver, BC with a focus on the realm of music-related design.

Steve St. Pierre, originally from Ottawa, Ontario, made the daunting trek across Canada in late 2007 via a lemon the shape of a 1998 Mercury station wagon and dug himself a new hole in Vancouver, BC. His years ingrained in independent music and design have produced a sizeable portfolio for promoters and musicians, as well as other like-minded clients ranging from photographers to charities and environmental organizations.

Patron Design Studio was born out of the need to brand his own freelance project. With limitless possibilities presented in the digital realm, ideas born out of late night scrawls quickly come to fruition in the form of unique posters, web layouts, and logo designs for some great and inspiring clients.

Not only does the studio produce quality work, but does so with efficiency and understanding of the task at hand. Patron’s client list is as unique as the work produced, with music blogs like MyOldKentuckyBlog, promoters like Ottawa’s Revolution Rock, festivals like the Monolith Music Fest, and environmental forerunner iWasteNot Systems all contracting work during the studio’s short but full existence.

Partial Client List:

White Whale Records
Revolution Rock
Monolith Music Festival
Chili’s Restaurant
Money Mart
iWasteNot Systems
StudioWise Photography
Craig Cardiff

The University of Wisconsin is looking for a studio to make show posters for us. Sometimes we will require actual printing to be shipped to us, but most of the time we need posters designed for our web-based media and print productions. Let me know if we can work together on this.
